Install Campn for Klaviyo

Campn is an independent app by Unclosed Labs LLC that connects to your Klaviyo account. It turns a drag-and-drop email template into a spreadsheet, then turns each filled-in row into its own draft Klaviyo campaign, up to 5 per upload. It never sends or schedules email: you review and send every campaign in Klaviyo.

Before you start

  • A Klaviyo account, and a Klaviyo login that’s allowed to add apps to it.
  • At least one email template built with Klaviyo’s drag-and-drop editor. Classic and code-your-own HTML templates aren’t supported.
  • At least one list or segment to send your campaigns to.

Install in five steps

  1. Start the install. Click Install on Campn’s listing in Klaviyo’s App Marketplace, or open campn.app/auth/klaviyo.
  2. Create an account or log in. Sign up with an email address and password, or choose Continue with Google. Already have a Campn account? Log in instead.
  3. Approve the permissions. Klaviyo shows the permissions Campn asks for, listed below. Approve them to connect.
  4. Start building. You land on Create Campaigns, which lists your drag-and-drop templates. Continue with Build campaigns from a CSV.
  5. Verify your email when it suits you. If you signed up with a password, we email you a verification link. You can use the app before you click it.

The permissions Campn asks for

images:writeUploads your images to your Klaviyo image library, and re-uploads any template image a copy loses (or a grey placeholder).
campaigns:writeCreates draft campaigns. It never sends or schedules them.
lists:readShows your lists in the audience picker.
segments:readShows your segments in the audience picker.

Campn never asks for access to your profiles. The data reference lists every Klaviyo request it makes.

If something goes wrong

  • “Klaviyo connection was declined.” The permissions weren’t approved. Start again and approve them.
  • “This connection link expired.” An approval is only valid for a few minutes. Start again from Settings → Integrations.
  • “That Klaviyo account is already connected to a different Campn account.” A Klaviyo account can be connected to only one Campn account. Log in to that account, or disconnect Klaviyo there first.

Update permissions

If a new feature needs another permission, or Create Campaigns says access is missing, open Settings → Integrations and choose Update permissions. Klaviyo shows its approval screen again.

Disconnect or uninstall

Open Settings → Integrations and choose Disconnect. This uninstalls Campn:

  • Its access is revoked at Klaviyo, so it also disappears from your Klaviyo integrations.
  • The template field maps and build history Campn stored for that Klaviyo account are deleted. The count of campaigns you’ve built stays, so disconnecting doesn’t reset your plan’s allowance.
  • Campaigns it already created, and images it uploaded, stay in your Klaviyo account.

If you uninstall from inside Klaviyo instead, Campn shows as disconnected, and deletes the same data, the next time you open Settings or Create Campaigns. To close your Campn account entirely, use Settings → Profile.
